English Color and Supply hires on Ix.sys to look at re-writing EC's custom POS system.  English Color and Supply has 34 stores across the Texas and Oklahoma.  The custom POS system was written in clipper and has allowed EC to gather store data on a daily basis and have the Companies AS/400 poll for that data on a nightly basis.  This system has worked for well over a decade.  The legacy system was written in clipper and is becoming more problematic under newer operating systems.  

In 2007 Ix.sys successfully delivered 9 new custom applications to InterConnect Wiring.  These applications touched many of the internal process's ICW has in place to manufacture specialzed wiring harness's for the Aircraft industry.

These applications are as diverse as talking to scale's to take gather weights from newly purchased rolls of wiring then convert that weight to length and then posting that into ICW's ERP system syspro.   Controlling the complete bid life cycle for RFQ's to Bids on complex govt and govt contractor quotations.  Checking in and out to inventory wire pulls.  Managing parts list that make up bids.  Printing of wire markings on specialized wire marking tooling ETC. ETC.

This month Ron Darling made his first trip of many to come to Romania.  Ron and his wife spent 2 weeks being escorted around the beautiful Romanian country side, meeting programmers Ix.sys has worked with for the last 2 years.  It was just a wonderful expercience for all.

Santech Industries agree to start working together again under a new programming model.  Ron Darling as project Manager, programming work being outsourced.   Ix.sys and Santech have worked together since 1995 under various arrangements.
